Our studio is based in Hungerford, Berkshire RG17 0EY. We have had the privilege of photographing in many locations in the UK, Europe and further afield.

Greenlys was founded in 1981 by Richard and Belinda Greenly, born from a deep passion for photography. What began as a small family studio quickly grew into one of Britain’s most trusted names in photography.

We photograph your day, then transform the images into prints, bespoke frames or custom albums. Every stage handled by us, with precision and care. It’s a complete service from capture to keepsake, ensuring your memories are preserved beautifully.

We’re a close-knit team of just over ten employees, each playing a key role in your photography journey. On the day, depending on the type of shoot you will have one photographer who will be with you, sometimes accompanied by a second shooter for larger events, while the rest of the team works seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs flawlessly and giving you the confidence of why you have chosen Greenlys.

Weddings
Planning a wedding comes with questions and rightly so. After 1,700 celebrations behind the lens, we know the answers to the questions that matter.

From the moment you book, we guide you through every stage. We begin with a consultation to understand your vision and plan the day, including the photography schedule and any special requests. In the lead-up, our team prepares everything to ensure nothing is left to chance. On the day, we work with precision and instinct, while managing the flow so everything runs smoothly. After the event, we carefully edit and deliver your images, with options to create bespoke albums, prints and order frames.

Yes. We have extensive experience photographing high-profile and celebrity guests. Every project is handled with complete discretion. All photography, editing, printing and presentation are managed in-house at our studio so you can trust that every detail is controlled and secured.

Where possible we would love to meet all our couples in person before the day. We can also arrange a video consultation to ensure every detail is planned and understood.

Booking with Greenlys is simple. Begin with contacting us via email or calling directly. We start with a consultation to understand your vision, requirements and the details of your day. Once your date is confirmed, we guide you through planning the shoot and delivering your finished images.

We’re able to create a relationship as soon as we meet, we’re then able to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing true selves to appear. This ensures every photograph feels completely natural, rather than staged.

We don’t work to a fixed number. Our focus is on capturing your day properly to deliver quality over quantity, you can expect a minimum of 300+ images depending on the size of event.

After your session or event, we carefully edit and prepare your images to the highest standard. Most clients receive their finished gallery within 4–6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the day.

Prior to your main gallery, we will always send through a selection of images from your shoot for you to enjoy while we add finishing touches to your gallery. You can expect these a few days after your event.
